From Dennis:
I too am a huge Steelers fan, but I am out here in the middle of Viking country. Since my senior photo has me with my family's Daschund Hans, and I don't have any current pictures of me, I was encouraged to post a photo of one of our Mastiffs as the now. Marduke and Rykki are shown.

If you had it to do all over again, what would you change and/or what wouldn't you change?:
I would've put more effort into my junior and senior years in high school. I think that I just went through the motions academically the last two years because I knew that I was going to go into the Navy. After putting in many hours and struggling through the Nuclear Power Program though, it gave me back that ambition and desire to learn and I knew that I wanted to go to PSU as soon as I could. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing.
What have you been up to the past 20 years?:
I went into the Navy in July '87. I spent 1 1/2 years in Orlando for bootcamp and Nuclear Power Program Schools. I spent 6 months in Ballston Spa, NY at Nuclear Prototype Training, then the remaining 4 years on a fast attack submarine based out of Norfolk, VA. I got out in July '93 and enrolled at PSU for electrical engineering. My first two years were at PSU DuBois, and the final two at University Park. I met my wonderful wife Tammy while at Dubois and we got married prior to my senior year. After graduation, I decided to pursue a career with the Navy and got a job with Naval Sea Systems Command and we moved to Annapolis, MD in 1998, only temporarily though, as the facility I work for moved to Philadelphia in 1999, where I've been working ever since. I work in research and development for keeping technology up to date for today's submarine fleet. I enjoy the work on the "other side of the fence" - so to speak. I've performed tests on submarines and have run into ex-shipmates even after all this time. I'm currently the lead EE of a small group and have now become the program manager (as of 11/1). My wife and I went to Montana last year for 2 weeks for our 10 year anniversary. We have 3 great children: Gordie (12/99), Abigail (4/02), and Susannah (11/04). I enjoy playing softball, genealogy, hunting, and singing in our church choir.
